Good-bye to Elder McKnight and Hello to Elder Hardester

This was the first transfer Elder Shumway and I have experienced in our district. We have all grown very close, so it was hard to say good-bye. But we know that wherever Elder McKnight serves he will be a blessing in the lives of those around him and continue to be an excellent missionary. We thank him for his example, his faith, his diligence, his genuine love for the work and the people. He will never be forgotten and his impact will be lasting.
We are happy to have Elder Hardester as an important part of the Alice Springs District. He brings with him enthusiasm, spirituality, diligence, talent and hard work. We are enjoying getting to know him.

I can only imagine how hard it would have been to say goodbye when you're all like a family there and Elder McKnight is wonderful. How fun for Elder Hardester though that he gets to join such a tight group of missionaries.
